My neighbour’s geraniums are incredible. They are 30 years old and bloom all year long. Even in the winter. He rarely covers them when it snows, like it is today, but the balcony above his window sills protects them. On my balcony I grow potatoes and garlic and sweat peas. It’s time to put the garlic in the pots, they need cold to germinate.

This is the corner building on the intersection of Avenue de Gobelins and rue Valence. It’s where rue Monge, and rue Claude Bernard end. I love these rounded rooftops.
