The athletic model at the Grande Chaumiere. Delacroix, Manet, Picasso et Cézanne were involved in the creation of the Grande Chaumiere. I love this place.

: And yet another was from a life drawing seession at the Grande Chaumiere. The model loved to watch the reaction of the public when she struck a pose.

The Grande Chaumiere is where Modigliani and other great artists painted. It’s near Montparnasse. They have virtual live sessions if you want to draw from the model. But it’s worth going in person if you can. The place is historical, so quainte and bohemian. There are fig leaf sized chips of paint peeling off the walls. And the sound of the western wind that rattles the glass panes during storms is just like the movies.
