I’m a member of this Facebook group whose name I won’t mention. Someone posted some unkind remarkds about this new shop Les Confisieries de Mouffetard. at 111 rue Mouffetard. They were writing about how the confiserie remained open during lockdown. The owner was bummed because they had spent months transforming the place from being a butcher shop only to find themselves in this incoherent covid crazy mess. Who can be and can’t be open is a real mystery.

So I had to try it. I rushed over there, it’s only a block away. The place is awsome. A bit pricy but where else can you get waffles like this, or a rack of candy canes.

I think I’ll go get a crepe.
