Geez, I thought I was going to post a monthly newsletter. That was in January. Summer is here. It is my first full season in the Nouvelle Galerie Massillon in Hyères. Hyères is really off the beaten track. It’s a great place if you need calm, because it’s quite the ghost town most of the time. Before sunbathing became fashionable, Queen Victoria wintered here. It’s sunny 350 days of the year. There is over 2000 years of history and we don’t have any big franchises other than McDonalds and some chocolat’e shops. It’s wonderful to live in this authentic place on the French Riviera, where seagulls wake me up, locusts sing in the summer, and shopping is at local mom and pop shops. Yesterday after work I went to Almanarre beach for a dip before dinner. I dreamt of this beach for 20 years before I moved her.

My art gallery is also my painting studio. It’s the Nouvelle Galerie Massillon in the historic center of Hyères and as of a month ago is officially a traditional art gallery. I represent not only my paintings, but also other artists work.
In the Etsy shop my illustrations inspired by the flowers of the Mediterranean.
